    OTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS

    With costs going up on everything we buy, and labor costs through the roof, the board raised the monthly fees only 6% for the fiscal year starting July 1, 2023

    The Special Assessment passed on June 23, 2022 and is broken down into monthly payments starting on your July 2023 monthly statement. You can also pay the assessment in full at anytime. As we get money in, we are able to complete more maintenance.

    Check out our Bulletin Board in the laundry Room for updated events and notices.  You can receive messages like this in your email box if you sign up to receive emails from KVE (see link to consent form to the lower left).

    The jacuzzi, sauna, pool and bathroom are open. Hours are Noon until 10 PM.


    KVE OPTIMUM (SUDDENLINK) BULK-PURCHASE

             

    In 2020, Owners voted to allow the HOA to enter in to a bulk purchase agreement with Suddenlink. On July 2, 2021 the agreement started, costs under $50/month, is added to the monthly HOA fees and will increase 7% every year in July. ALL units now receive the following:

             Expanded basic TV with one basic DTA cable box/remote

             100 Mbps unlimited data Internet with Wi-Fi-Modem

         

    Each unit still maintains an individual Optimum account in case owners choose to add extra services such as:

             Internet speeds over 100 Mbps

             Cable Modem/Router Rentals

             Extra High Definition cable boxes

             Pay Cable Channels or Movie/Sports packages

             Mobile Phone Lines

    Unless there is a current promotion, some popular internet add-ons are:

        200 Mbps - $10/month extra
        400 Mbps - $30/month
    extra
          1 Gbps - $40
    /month extra


    If your unit has not activated all desired Optimum services, you should email our
    Optimum Coordinator and our manager ASAP to get your services setup. Our manager must be informed of any installation appointments so that he can supervise any cable installation and will insist that workmen follow professional cabling standards and clean up existing wiring as necessary.


    If you lease out your unit monthly, you may wish to raise the rent $50 or more as your tenant is now getting $140 worth of services at a steep discount.
